Meet Mila Camomila
Mila Camomila—better known as Camila Cota—has always said she was born loving both drawing and *sopas fritas*. She was born in 2003 on Terceira Island in the Azores.
She earned a degree in Drawing from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon (FBAUL), where she later deepened her knowledge and love for illustration through a postgraduate program in Illustration and Visual Narrative (also at FBAUL) and a specialization in Digital Illustration at the Lisbon School of Design. In 2026, she completed her studies with a Master’s degree in Illustration, Edition, and Printing from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto.
Mila enjoys illustrating frogs, tigers, and little flowers, using vibrant colors, and playing with shapes. She wants to be an illustrator to make people smile with her characters.
